De-Pals Care Foundation was an initiative of Asmau Yusuf a professional accountant and Risk manager with over 2 decades experience in both private and public sector (Banking & finance, risk analysis and management, Auditing, Budgeting & insurance) passion for elderly care took me to obtain diploma in Care giving.

Looking at Africa culture, it's not easy for an elderly people to live out their home, hence we designed our services to suit Africa culture and beliefs.
- We provide care giving services to weak older persons right in the comfort of their home.
- We provide care services for those on hospital admission
- We render post admission services both at our center and client home as may be required.
- We provide accommodation for elderly whose family members are traveling
- We render day care services for elderly
- Leisure and Recreation center for elderly people.
- Life coaching and Councilor
- We run adult literacy classes
- Care giver Training
- Retirement training
- Research and Consultancy services.
Most of our services are tailored towards preventing old age illness as well health management.

We are open Monday to Saturday 8am - 5pm

Yes! Elderly people love adventures and most of time required some changes. We have accommodate elderly people who just desire change of environment to rest.
Some for the purpose of renovating their home or apartments.
Post admission, some required short stay after been discharged from hospital for proper monitoring.
Some family members may have official, religion or education advancement trip to make and worry about a stay place for their aged loved one, opportunity is open for such circumstances.

It's part of our rehabilitative and palliative care services. Though we currently have limited space to accommodate this category of older people but we're planning on expansion.

We have been able to group the older people in their various community and appoint youth ambassador for them. Through that communication is been very easy and smooth.

We have being operating with the little resources we get from personal purse, private individuals, companies and government.

We are open to partnership and sponsors with philanthropes, companies, government & NGOs for expansion and better service delivery.

In Africa, we hardly prepare for old age. Hence we have largest number of vulnerable older people all over. With our efforts many have realized the importance of these services.
However, larger number of these old people do not have formal education, so no pension. they live with limited resources been provided by either family or philanthropist around them.
We therefore looking at building a nursing home that can accommodate 500 vulnerable older persons so we Care for them appropriately.
We also require funds to train the active ones, on some daily needs products which the raw materials are close to them. Package the products and help them distribute to market for sale.

It is very important to render report with proper statistical analysis and pictorial evidence to authenticate proper utilization and evidence of project done. We don't compromise on results and report.

We have done series of impactful projects/initiatives since commissioned. Eg;
- Free health and medical outreach to the older people Kwara State
- Health Talk and Sensitation in Kwara State
- Formation of older people assemblies within Kwara State
- Social Peer Networking for older persons in Kwara State
- Weekly Gentle/Soft Exercises for older persons.
- Sharing of foodstuffs and cash token for the elderly people in Kwara State.

We currently operate in two states Abuja and Kwara State due to the special Care required by our target beneficiaries and limited resources. We have plans to extend our helping hands to more state in the nearest future and then other Africa country.
